For those of you who are interested, I'm organising a moonlight cinema night at the Royal Botanic Gardens on Tuesday Dec 27 at 7:00pm (movie starts at 8:00pm) to see Wallace And Gromit - The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit.

Call me if you can come and we'll organise Tix and stuff. It's $13 concession on the door (subject to availability) or $12 conc. if you book online.

For those who are coming along tomorrow, if you'd like to come around earlier for a swim feel free. I thought I was working till 5:30, but not anymore! It's gonna be a hot one, so I'll be spending the afternoon in the pool, and if you'd like to join me you are quite welcome. Perhaps just give me a call first to make sure I'm home and haven't ducked off to the supermarket or some such place.

Kellie and I are in the snow! it has been snowing for the ast few day and looks like it may be a white christmas!

Xmas do...

I'm all for a Christmas do and I thank Erica for putting her place up (applause). My preferred day would be the 23rd as I will be busy all day on the 24th. Unless it started at like 8 or 9pm or something. But anyhoo, 23rd would be good. Hope all things are well with everyone.

Xmas Do...

...Xmas Don't!

Well, I'd really prefer there to be an Xmas Do. An Xmas Don't conjures up images of bad office parties with daggy 80s music, drunk dancing and pashing some guy from accounting who you'll regret the next Monday.

So, when is everyone up for an Xmas Do? Eug has suggested either the 23rd or the 24th December, and I second either of those days. I'm thinking BBQ, swimming, a bit of wine and lots of fun at my house. And the only question that remains is when do YOU want to Do Xmas? Or Don't, if you so prefer.

...and now I feel slightly embarrassed for it now seems so easy to do, I don't know why I got so confused. Anyhoo, here I am. The FANBOY has arrived!

Well... I think I've finally set things right...'someone' has made posts, and is still listed as a valued contributor to this page. Robbie - I'm afraid you will have to create an account by way of Erica's instructions to become a member, I'll send you an invitation to join when I've finished posting this. Dave - looks like you've finally got things sorted - onya dude!

And now so some not-so-exciting news: There is NO DVD night this week. I'm sorry Gnome, the week after (15th) is cancelled as well, as I will hopefully be on a road trip to Sydney).....hopefully I can fit one in before Xmas...Actually, there's a Host Scheme Xmas party on that night 22nd so probably not. But that just means one of us can throw a HUGE Xmas party on the weekend or something - Bags not me, as I'll be too busy with work to organise anything.

Well, it's bedtime for me, so that's all folks.....

Team Blogging 101

It seems that a few people are slightly confused about the big bad world of Blogging. I shall attempt to lend my very limited wisdom, in the hopes that all the shennanigans of late can be rectfied, and everyone can have their own personal blogging accounts. Here is a link to an article about how to add a new member to a team blog.

In synopsised, Erica terms, here is what you must do:

• You need to log into the onlycoolppl account and go to Settings > Members.
  
• Next you will click the "Add Team Member" button, and invite yourself to join the blog.
  
• The following step is important - you need to sign out of the onlycoolppl account before proceeding further.
  
• Now the time has come to go to your email, click the link there, and follow the prompts to create your own Blogger account and become a team member of onlycoolppl.
  
• And once all that is done, everything should be in order, and the world will be able to start once again spinning on its normal axis, the planets realigning themselves with the sun.

Hi Hooch and All,
Sorry, I can't make it tonight- am tired from a day of trying to master the complexities of Optus. Who I now work for. And I try not to think too much of the people in a call centre in India getting paid one third of my wage. Still, I won't be there forever. But I will be at your place next thursday! And come bearing gifts - well, food atleast :) So it had better be on, Eug, or I'm turning up regardless...*grin*
