50 yr old Dancing Queen

Thanks to everyone who came....I have to say I can't remember the music being like that (at either place) last time but it turned into a fun night of dancing to music I didn't know I knew, of Bindy and I begging the DJ to play Michael Jackson (yes..I'm a proud lover) and of trying to escape the grip of some 50 yr old drunken lady trying to dance with Bindy, Erica and I while saying "I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren and I'm the Dancing Queen" - yeah right!

Thanks heaps for the lift home Rob, I really appreicated it!

Birthday Boogie

Kellie it’s your birthday, happy birthday Kellie (if only Michael Jackson sang that to me like on The Simpsons)….yes, I know I’ve just made the majority of you cringe with disgust.

I’m going out for a fun night on the town with my pals on Friday 21st of April – this coming Friday.

I’m heading for The Retreat Hotel, 280 Sydney Rd, Brunswick for a 7.30ish dinner. The pub is a little bit shabby and retro on the inside with a big beer garden out the back (I’m hoping for a clear mild night!). Meals should satisfy both herbivores and carnivores. Followed by a quick walk a couple of blocks up to The Spot 133 Sydney Rd for a bit of a serious boogie.

Hope this gathers a large group, we all seem to be so busy (myself included of course) so I hope we can all gather and enjoy!....and did I say have a boogie?

I know for us people in Heathmont it’s a bit of a hike but I’d love to see you all there to boggie with.
Please let me know if you’re coming, not too sure whether I need to book a table yet. I am aiming to call everyone individually but wanted to book everyone ahead.....

We all seem to be so busy (myself included of course) so I hope we can all gather and enjoy.....and did I say have a boogie?

Love Kel xxxx

So, the solution? Don't put extremely long links in the sidebar. Unfortunately, this can't be helped with the recent post titles, which are occasionally quite long. So now you know that no one has been unintentionally fiddling where they shouldn't!

Night at the Thee-ar-ter. Pt 1

Hey there people. Mitcham Theatre Group is currently running a season of a production of the play CLOSER (the play, the film w/ Jude Law, Clive Owen, Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman, is based on) . I hope to go on Saturday the 8th (this Saturday), the show starts at 8:15pm. Though I would like to see it regardless, it's always better with company and it just may well be a cool little night out. The venue is very close to Mitcham train station (Old Church Hall, Cnr Edward St & Maroondah Hwy, Mitcham (Melway 48 J9)). Leave comment if you think your up for it. Cheers.

Rob.

All alone.

Well, the parents are over in Tazie for the next 7 days. Leaving the house all to me. 'THE POWER!!' So I would like to see anyone of you cool people would like to join me at my place for... well... anything. It could be as big as a piss up or as small as just hainging out, maybe watching a movie. Comment if you'd like to do any of the above or something you think up some time this week. The whole house is free for the whole week and I must take advantage of this wonderful situation. Whos with me?
