Yes, he had to explain in on msn to me - at first read I thought it was "you don't make friends with salad", as if salad was a person and you shouldn't make friends with them, and hence thought he was calling me salad. Then he explained that it actually meant you don't make friends USING salad, and so the light dawned through the clouds and it all suddenly made sense.
haha.
